Wood County Project |
August 2002We
are currently in the process of reviewing all applications for the new Wood
County Bottling Facility. At this
time we are not accepting any new applications - we will begin hiring in
mid-October and will look to hire even more employees towards the end of this
year. Please check our
"Employment" section for a detailed update. Our
construction on the Wood County Bottling Facility is moving along as scheduled.
The road is finished, the front office steel is erected, the wall panels
are installed in the warehouse and the parking lot will be asphalted this month.
Additionally, much of the underground utility work will be completed.
Construction of the spring water collection facilities continues and we are
installing monitoring points for the long-term monitoring program that will be
used while collecting spring water. Congratulations
to Seth Drennan, from Harmony High School's 2002 graduating class, our first
recipient of the $2500 Ozarka Scholarship in Wood County!!
We wish him great success at Texas A&M.
Our "Every Drop Counts" Statewide Scholarship Fund deadline was
May 31, 2002 and our two scholarship award winners for 2002 are Kyle James from
Lubbock Christian University and Kathryn Williams from McMurry University.
Graduating Texas seniors and college students interested in pursuing
Earth Sciences were eligible for the two statewide $10,000 scholarships.
Thank you for your interest! As we have been in the past, we remain absolutely dedicated to maintaining open and earnest communications with the community and are always available for your questions and concerns. If you have further questions, please call our Ozarka hotline at: 888-409-4424. |
